New Client Appointments:

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment. First time clients are required to fill out a new client form. We recommend that you book your next appointment prior to leaving the salon so that we can be sure to accommodate your schedule and maintain your look. Your stylist will advise how often you should return to maintain your style in your consultation.

Cancellations and Late Arrivals:

In order to continue to provide the best scheduling options to our guests, we do require 24 hours notice. Should you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a 40% service fee does apply and is required to be paid upon request or prior to reserving another appointment. (by invoice)

  • Late appointments in excess of 15 minutes and no shows will be considered cancellations as defined above. 

  • Tardiness interferes with other clients' service time and will cause the entire schedule to be  backed up. policy is in place out of respect for the stylist and clients. 

    • ​You are allotted a 10 min grace period up to two consecutive times. Should you exceed your grace period, and we are still able to accomodate you, there will be a fee of $1/min that you are late. 

      • for example 20min late​ -10 min (grace pd) = $10 late fee

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are difficult to fill. By giving last minute notice or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot. 

    • for example:       appt.(haircut $40) 3p tues  -   cancel 6p mon 

          = 21 hr notice. (less than 24hr notice) fee= $16 due upon receipt/prior to rebook.


NO SHOWS: 

You will be charged a cancellation fee that is required to be paid prior to reserving another appointment. (by invoice)


Child Policy:


Children are ONLY permitted in the salon when the child is receiving a service. If the child being serviced is not ready to be serviced, we ask that you please come back at a later date once the child is able to safely receive services. 

For safety reasons and insurance purposes.NO child may accompany you while you are having a service. We do not have the facilities to care for children. We love children and we hope you understand that we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of our guests. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.


Additional Guests:


NO additional guests are permitted unless being serviced. Due to the small size of our intimate studio we like to keep our environment relaxing while giving you our full attention

Service Redo Policy:

We strive to offer guests the highest level of guest satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your service, let your stylist know within 3 days of your visit and your stylist will make adjustments to your cut and color accordingly.

Confirmation Texts & Emails:

As a courtesy, we make every effort to notify you of your appointment date and time.  You will receive an email upon scheduling your appointment. Our system will email you again 48 hours before the appointment, to give you plenty of time to notify us if you need to cancel/reschedule. 24 hours before the appointment, the system will send you a text message reminder. We confirm in advance as a courtesy because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. It is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times and inform us if your contact information has changed to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and potential cancellation fees.


Extension and Coloring Services:

Deposits are due at booking for Extension and Coloring services and are non-refundable. Your deposit invoice will be sent via email. Once your invoice is paid, your appointment will be officially reserved.


Bridal Appointments:

Due to the nature of weddings, we require a credit card on file and a $50 deposit. This card will only be charged in the result of cancellations or changes made past their allowance. Please make sure your party is aware of this and the services they request. To add any services after the 30 day mark we will do our best to accommodate. In addition, a trial for the bride is HIGHLY recommended. In the instance one is not booked, we can only perform one hair styling for the day.

I. Queen Salon reserves the right to refuse service to any client for improper conduct, tardiness, no shows, or any other situation we deem inappropriate.

In the event that our policies are overlooked you may be asked to reschedule (w/associated fees)
